For three months NFA staff have been assisting preparators at CMOG moving art into their new exhibition wing. We’ve witnessed the space move from a hardhat/steel-toe construction zone to a polished work of art. Working closely with Matt Smith ( Preparator Supervisor) NFA made bi-weekly trips from the museum’s off-site facilities to the museum and back. Most days work began at eight in the morning and sometimes went till after 5:00 pm. The new wing opens this Friday at 7 pm and NFA will be there for the Grand Opening Celebration. Plenty of pictures were taken of the new wing in the past few months, unfortunately none of them can be posted until after the Opening. Stay tuned!
